WINNERS AND SURPRISE MISHAP AT 2017 OSCARS

At the 89th Academy Awards last night, veteran actor and actress Warren Beatty and  Faye Dunaway pulled a 'Steve Harvey' by announcing the wrong winner for Best Picture; naming  La La Land but it turned out  was beaten by  Moonlight instead. Talk about a cringe worthy moment!

But that embarrassing mishap aside, Emma Stone did win the Oscar for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in La La Land, however her handsome co-star Ryan Gosling was beaten by

Casey Affleck for the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role, for his performance in Manchester By The Sea.

The Oscar for the Best Supporting Actress went to Denzel Washington's Fences co-star Viola Davis, while Best Supporting Actor was won by Moonlight's Mahershala Ali- making him the first Muslim ever to win an Oscar in a major category.

Best Song- City of Stars (La La Land)
