Dora The Explorer Embarks On A New Type of Adventure

The protagonist of the long-running animated educational series, Dora the Explorer, has to leave the jungle and explore a whole new territory; high school! With her best friend Boots, her cousin Diego and a team of other teens, Dora eventually goes on a mission to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost Inca civilization.

Dora is played by Isabela Moner, Michael Pena and Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria as Cole and Elena-Dora's parents, Jeff Wahlberg as Diego and  Danny Trejo as the voice of Boots.

Directed by James Bobin and distributed by Paramount Pictures, Dora and The Lost City of Gold comes out August 9th.
