PHOTO OF THE WEEK: 'Olu Jacobs & Joke Silva in "Holy Child" '

In preparation of veteran actor Olu Jacobs' 80th birthday, veteran actress Joke Silva has been posting a series of nostalgic photos on social media, honouring her husband. Among them is a photograph depicting them as Joseph and Mary in Holy Child, a musical stage version of the Nativity story.

Directed by the late  Tunde Oloyede and written by Olu Jacobs, it made its stage debut at the National Theatre in December 1986. It returned in 1987 and then in 1993, with fellow veterans, Taiwo Ajayi Lycett and Richard Mofe Damijo among the cast.

On her Instagram page, Mrs Joke Silva announced Holy Child will return on stage in December this year at the Glover Memorial Hall.
