"Aníkúlápó: Rise Of The Spectre" Hits Netflix March 1st, 2024

Within days of unveiling the official poster of "Aníkúlápó: Rise Of The Spectre", ace director Kunle Afolayan has announced its release date, which is set to hit Netflix on the 1st of March, 2024.
Aníkúlápó: Rise Of The Spectre" is a mini series follow up of Afolayan's hit film, Aníkúlápó (One Who Carries Death In His Pouch), which premired on the 30th October, 2022. 2010 Gulder Ultimate Search winner Kunle Remi led an esemble cast that included Bimbo Ademoye, Taiwo Hassan, Shola Shobowale, Yinka Quadri and veteran British-Nigerian actor, Hakeem Kae-Kazim. The epic film earned several awards at the 2023 AMVCA awards, including Best Writer and Best Overall Movie.
The upcoming 6-parter sees the return of several cast members and new ones: Lateef Adedimeji, Adebayo Salami and Owobo Ogunde, son of the founding father of Modern Nigerian Theatre, late Chief Herbert Ogunde.
