Premiering Today On Netflix: Terminator Zero

Japan, 1997

A scientist, Malcolm Lee, develops another AI system to compete with Skynet.  When  Judgment Day approaches, Lee finds himself and his three children pursued by a cybernetic assassin. However,  a mysterious soldier called Eiko from the year 2022 has been sent to protect him.

The new anime series is based on "The Terminator" franchise created by James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd, set in 90s Japan.  Terminator Zero's voice cast includes  "Moonlight" and "Selma" alum, Andre Holland as Malcolm Lee, Timothy Olyphant as The Terminator, Sonoya Mizuno as Eiko, the resistance soldier sent from 2022 to protect Lee and his children, Rosario Dawson as Kokoro, Lee's new AI system and  Ann Dow as the Resistance's spiritual leader, known as The Prophet. 

Terminator Zero makes its premiere today, the 29th of August, on Netflix
