We say goodbye and forever remember the iconic 'Lion of Lufudo ' and one of the godfathers of Nigerian television, stage and film, Olu Jacobs, MFR. May his soul rest in peace. 

A look at his decades-long career... 

 Olu Jacobs guest-starred as crime boss Sylvester in Series 3, Episode 5 of the classic ITV crime drama series, The Professionals (1977-1983), in 1979. 

Served as narrator of the 1983 BBC documentary, Ogunde: Man of the Theatre, about the father of modern Nigerian theatre, Chief Hubert Ogunde.        

In Chico Ejiro's 1997 film, Daybreak Part 2: Judgement Day, which also starred Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Racheal Oniga, Emeka Ike & Sandra Achums. 

                                               

In Ndubisi Okoh's 2001 film, Girls' Hostel, which starred Empress Njamah and Ngozi Ezeonu.
