25th Bond Movie Title Finally Revealed
While it's going to be an agonising wait before its actual release in April 2020, the 25th entry in the Bond franchise- where Daniel Craig will make his final bow as 007 (or so he insists)- now has a title, which is; No Time To Die.
This would be the third Bond movie to have the word 'die'; the last one being 2002's Die Another Day, which starred Craig's direct Bond predecessor, Pierce Brosnan- which was his fourth and final stint as Bond. But the first Bond movie title with that word was 1973's Live and Let Die, the late Sir Roger Moore's 007 debut.
In No Time To Die, 007 has retired and living in Jamaica; the last time Bond fans saw him there was way back in 1962's Dr No- where Sir Sean Connery first brought Ian Fleming's creation to life. However, he is alerted by his CIA agent friend Felix Leiter (Jeffery Wright) to help with a missing scientist and a new villain (Rami Malek) and finds himself working with the new 007... to be clear once again, she's an agent assigned his code number- Agent Nomi (Lashana Lynch).
No Time To Die somewhat brings the Bond franchise back to its roots, as Bond creator, Ian Fleming, wrote all the James Bond books at his Jamaica estate- Goldeneye.
