A counsellor's belief in forgiveness and reconciliation between criminals and their victims is heavily tested when her daughter goes missing.


The Ghost and The House of Truth,  previously screened at this year's Urbanworld  Film festival  in New York,  is a collaboration between Temple Productions, The Mission Entertainment and Slate 1 Films. Directed by Akin Omotoso and produced by Checkmate  alum Ego Boyo, this thriller stars Susan Wokoma as a desperate mother  in search of her missing daughter. As an idealistic  counsellor who believes in letting the past go, will she be able to retain that belief, now that her own child is a  victim of a crime... or seek her own idea of justice if the police are unable to?

Also starring is Nollywood veteran Kate Henshaw as the  lead detective in the case, with Fabian Oloyede, Kemi Akindoju and Uzo Ozimkpa among the cast.


It is set to hit cinemas tomorrow; 22nd of November, 2019.
