Jared Leto is 'Morbius'

 

'Morbius' starring Jared Leto is the titular character of the upcoming superhero film. A character in the Spider-Man comics and one of his many, many enemies, Morbius first appeared in #101 of 'The Amazing Spider-Man' in 1971.

In the comics-which serve as the premise of the upcoming film, Morbius, the Living Vampire, was originally Michael Morbius, a Nobel-winning biochemist from Greece who, in an attempt to cure his blood disease, experiences a mishap in his lab when his blood gets mixed up with vampire bat DNA. 

'Morbius' is directed by Daniel Espinosa and also stars Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris,  Tyrese Gibson and Michael Keaton.  Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, it will be released January 28th, 2022, instead of the original July 2020 date.  TRAILER
