Adam Sandler Turns Serious in Upcoming Sports Drama
Comedian Adam Sandler again plays against type in the upcoming Netflix sports drama, Hustle, set to be released on the 10th of June, 2022. In Hustle, Sandler plays a former basketball scout who fights to sign up an overseas player with a checkered past to play in the NBA, as a means of reviving his own career.
Also starring is Queen Latifah, 'The Godfather' alum Robert Duvall, 'Six Feet Under' alum, Ben Foster and real life professional basketball player, Juancho Hernangomez. It has been confirmed several players from the Philadelphia 76ers will make appearances.
'Hustle' comes three years after Sandler's previous non comic film, 'Uncut Gems'. Currently, he's shooting the sequel of his 2019 comedy mystery film, 'Murder Mystery', with Jennifer Aniston.
