Beverly Hills Cop 4: Production Begins

 The long anticipated Netflix sequel has begun production, with Eddie Murphy reprising his role as the wisecracking Detriot P.D cop, Axel Foley. It has been announced that Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Taylour Paige  will be Murphy's castmates in the upcoming film, which is now titled "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley". The first installment released in 1984, was directed by Martin Brest and starred Eddie Murphy, Judge Reinhold, John Ashton,  Ronny Cox, with Gilbert R. Hill as Inspector Todd; the film catapulting Murphy to international stardom and winning the People's Choice Award for "Favourite Motion Picture" and earning several nominations. "Beverly Hills Cop" and its 1987 and 1994 sequels were produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Don Simpson; the newest will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Eddie Murphy and diŕected by Mark Malloy.
