Criminal Minds' Return : Paget Brewster's First Look

Criminal Minds alum Paget Brewster recently revealed her first look ahead of the show's upcoming return, depicting her fan favourite character SSS Agent Emily Prentiss as having aged somewhat since the show's final episode after 15 seasons. Brewster made her first apperance as Prentiss in Season 2 E9 "The Last Word", shortly after the departure of Agent Elle Greenaway (Lola Glaudini), who made her final appearance in Season 2 Episode 6, "The Bogeyman". 

Brewster left Criminal Minds mid its sixth season and returned in Season 7. She however left after Season 7 ended, making a guest appearance in Season 9 Episode 14"200" (the show's 200th episode) and then in Season 11 E19 "Tribute" (after the departure of Shemar Moore who played Agent Derek Morgan since Season 1), returning to the show fully there after, her character promoted to Unit Chief after the departure of her fan favourite  predecessor, Agent Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson). 

Criminal Minds, the crime  drama series about a group of elite FBI profilers, first premired in on CBS in 2005 and ended in 2015. It had two short lived spinoffs, Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour  and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and a South Korean adapation, Criminal Minds Korea. 

Set to return via Paramount +,  other cast members confirmed to reprise their roles are Joe Mantegna (David Rossi), A.J Cook ( J.J), Aisha Tyler ( Tara Lewis) ,  Adam Rodriguez (Luke Alvez) and Kirsten Vangsness ( Penelope Garcia). Alas... NOT returning are Matthew Gray Gubler) who played super  fan favourite Spencer Reid (boo hoo!!!) and Daniel Henney,  who played Matt Simmons, his character a main cast in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders before joining the original show in Season 12.
