Happy Birthday, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett

 Reel Illustrated celebrates with veteran actress, cosmetologist and  journalist; Taiwo Àjai Lycett, as she clocks 83 today. 

Born a twin in 1941, Ajai-Lycett attended the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, after obtaining  diplomas n Cosmetology and Business Studies. Her first acting experience was  in Wole Soyinka's debut play,  "The Lion and the Jewel" in 1966. In the 1970s, she became the first female editor of African Woman magazine. 

Her acting credits include the 90s NTA  sitcom "The Honourable", "Tinsel"and "King of Boys: The Return of the King".
