Goodnight Clarus: Davis Offor (1941- 2026)

 

The veteran actor, Davis Offor,  passed away on the 6th of April, aged 85. 

He was a cast member of the classic Nigerian TV comedy, The New Masquerade, playing the bumbling & often deceitful houseboy, Clarus, along with James Iroha (the sitcom's creator), who played Gringory. They both appeared in GP  adverts & the 1994 comedy, "Lagos Na Wa" & its sequels as their characters. 

After retiring from acting, Offor devoted the rest of his life as an ordained minister of the Aetherius Church in Abia State
