Congratulations, Angélique Kidjo!

A big congratulations and a stack of flowers for French-Beninese music veteran Angélique Kidjo,  as she's honoured with a Hollywood Walk of Fame Star. By this, Kidjo has made history by being the First African artist to receive this honour. 

Born in the Republic of Benin to a Fon father and a Yoruba mother, Kidjo has earned 5 Grammy Awards and a Polar Star Award during her long career of AfroPop, AfroBeat, Reggae, etc. She speaks 5 languages and has released 18 studio albums, collaborating with artists including Davido, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, and Peter Gabriel.
