PEFTI Arts and Film Festival 2019 Kicks Off

The PEFTI Arts & Film Festival  2019 kicked off its week's long celebration of music, film, performing arts and fashion yesterday; at the institute's PEFTI Hall, Isolo. 


It began with a screening of selected short films made by the institute's students, today's event on the programme is an Art Conference, where this year's theme- Colour- was discussed and how it relates to the film industry. It is to be followed the next day, which is Graduation Day for departing students. 

On Friday, July 26th- James Ene Henshaw's play This Is Our Chance will be staged at 4 p.m to 6 p.m and the festival is scheduled to end on Saturday, July 27th- with a concert and Award's presentation.


PEFTI Film Institute was established by Wale Adenuga Productions in 2004; its courses including Music, Cinematography, Script Writing and Bead Making. The festival's theme last year was Africa; the play staged was Zulu Sofoola's  Memories in the Moonlight
