Following the defacing of Marcus Rashford's mural with racist and insulting messages, the English footballer's supporters took to the streets to protest against racism after replacing the hateful messages with messages of love and support. The racist attacks came after England lost the Euro 2020 final to Italy, with Rashford missing a penalty kick. Bukayo Saka and Jandon Malik Sancho, were also subject to abuse from the haters but received hundreds of supporters' encouragement, including from Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who condemned the racist attacks.
