"Days of Our Lives" Veteran John Aniston Passes On

 

Reel Illustrated  commiserates with Friends alum Jennifer Aniston on the passing of her father, John Aniston. The late Greek-American actor was best known for playing villian businessman Victor Kiriakis in the long running soap, "Days of Our Lives" from 1985 to 2022. Before playing Kiriakis, he briefly appeared as another character in 1970, Dr. Eric Richards.  On the 18th June, Aniston received the  Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award at the 49th Annual Daytime Creative Arts & Lifestyle Emmy Awards, which Jennifer accepted on his behalf. 

Aniston was 89 at the time of his death, 11th of November. 

Aniston appeared other soaps and T.V Shows including Gilmore Girls, Kojak which starred his best friend, late Telly Savalas, Diagnosis: Murder, the short lived My Big Fat Greek Life,  Cold Case and Mad Men. 

Jennifer Aniston described her late dad as, "one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew."
