"Batman" Voice Actor Kevin Conroy Passes On
The Batman world has gone darker ... Kevin Conroy, the longtime voice actor of Batman, has died. According to reports, Conroy passed away on the 10th of November, after battling with intenstinal cancer. He was 66.
Conroy began his longtime voice role as Batman/Bruce Wayne in Batman: The Animated Series, reprising his role in Batman Beyond and the following Batman and D.C Universe animated films, except for Batman vs. Robin, where he voiced Bruce's late father, Thomas Wayne. He was the first Batman voice actor to use seperate voices to portray Batman and Bruce Wayne.

Conroy also voiced Batman and Bruce Wayne in Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, crossover episodes of Superman: The Animated Series, The Zeta Project and other D.C universe media and video games. He was also known for his relief efforts in the aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy in 2001.
He made appearances in several T.V shows including Tour of Duty, Dynasty, Matlock, the miniseries Kennedy, The Office, etc.
Star Wars alum and longtime Joker voice actor, Mark Hamill and long time Batwoman/ Barbara Gordon voice actress Tara Strong have expressed their sorrow at Conroy's passing.
