Happy Birthday, Louis Gossett Jr.

Happy 87th birthday to veteran American actor, Louis Gossett Jr.; born on the 27th of May, 1936. 

Along with John Amos, Leslie Ugamms and Madge Sinclair, Gossett featured in the 1977 miniseries, "Roots"; playing Kunta's confidante Fiddle, earning him an Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor for a Single Appearance in a Drama or Comedy Series. He won Best Supporting Actor for his role as the stern  Sergeant Foley in "An Officer and a Gentleman", starring Richard Gere. 

Over the years, Gossett has appeared in various films, T.V shows, commercials and stage plays.
