Happy Children's Day

While it is celebrated on different dates in many countries, Children's Day was 

first observed in Nigeria in 1964. 

Having gained Independence in 1960, Children's Day was set aside to celebrate the Nigerian child, to raise awareness of children's rights, appreciate them and guide them to be positive role models in the future.
