Inside Out 2: New Emotions... New Challenges



The upcoming sequel of the 2015 coming-of-age animated Pixar film sees the return of Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger; personified emotions inhabiting the mind of a young girl. Directed by Kelsey Mann, it is set to be released on the 14th of June, 2024. 


Reel Sum Up... 

13-year-old Riley Anderson has fully adapted to her life in Minnesota but to the dismay of Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger, new emotions emerge... Anxiety, Embarrassment, Ennui and even worse... Envy! 

Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith,  Lewis Black Kyle MacLachlan and Diane Lane reprise their voice roles from the previous film as Joy, Sadness, Anger and Riley's parents respectively. Tony Hale replaces Bill Hader as Fear, Liza Lapira replaces Mindy Kaling as Disgust and Kensington Tallman replaces Kaitlyn Dias as Riley. Other new voice cast members include Ayo Edebiri as Envy, Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui (a.k.a Boredom), Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment and Maya Hawke as Anxiety.
