"Aníkúlápó: The Ghoul Awakens" Hits Netflix Jan 30, 2026

Following the events of Rise of the Spectre, the story moves beyond the Oyo Kingdom into foreign lands, exploring the heavy, often deadly, price of supernatural power. Once power is awakened, it demands a price. From Oyo to foreign lands, love is tested, and loyalties are shaken. Season 2  of Kunle Afolayan's  'Aníkúlápó' series,  "Aníkúlápó: The Ghoul Awakens",  is set to hit Netflix on the 30th of this month. In partnership with the National Film Authority, the 6-episode mini was filmed in Ghana. New additions to the cast include Okusaga Adeoluwa, Kiekie, Antar Laniyan,  and Saheed Balogun.
