NEW: The Two Popes

Veteran actor Sir Anthony Hopkins is definitely no stranger to biopics; Young Winston, The Elephant Man, Shadowlands,  Nixon,  Surviving Picasso, Hitchcock. Now he plays Pope Benedict XV1, who raised eyebrows in 2013 when he resigned from his post as head of the Catholic Church. This biopic follows his interactions with his eventual successor; Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio, now  Pope Francis, played by Jonathan Pryce... yep,  the same dude who appeared as the extremely nasty Elliot Carver in Tomorrow Never Dies years ago. 

The Two Popes had its world premiere last month at the Telluride Film Festival, next screening is to be on September 9th  at this year's Toronto International Film Festival. Its scheduled limited  U.S release is November 27th, U.K release on the 29th; before its digital release on Netflix on the 20th of December.
