Happy 50th Anniversary "Carrie"

Plot: Abused at home and bullied at school, Carrie White's telekinetic powers finally manifest with fatal consequences after she's a victim of a terrible prank at her high school prom.

The 5th of April, 2024 marked the 50th anniversary of the horror novel, "Carrie," published in 1974. It is the first published novel by American novelist,  Stephen King. While it's not the first novel he penned, (which was actually  The Long Walk, later published in 1979), Carrie launched King's career as an author and sold even more copies after its first film adaptation, starring Sissy Spacek as the main character, Carrie White. A sequel and two more adaptations have been released, along with a 1988 musical, further cementing "Carrie" as a memorable classic. Carrie's main themes are ostracism and revenge.

Stephen King expressed his gratification on X (formerly Twitter):

Carrie's  50th-anniversary edition was published on the 26th of March, in hardback, by Hodder & Stoughton.

Happy 50th Anniversary "Carrie"!!!
