Happy 90th Birthday, Wole Soyinka
Reel Illustrated wishes novelist, poet playwright, and essayist Professor Wole Soyink a very happy 90th birthday. Born in 1934, Soyinka is the first African to win the Nobel Prize for Literature and a first cousin of late music maestro and activist, Fela Aníkúlápó Kútì.
Soyinka's works include Ake, Ibadan,The Man Died: Prison Notes, The Trials of Brother Jero, A Play of Giants, The Lion and the Jewel and Chronicles from the Land of the Happiest People on Earth.
