Classic T.V: Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future (1987-1988)

 

Premise:  in the year 2147, when mankind is over thrown by deadly machines, the  Bio Dreds, led by the evil Lord Dread, an elite band of soldiers led by Captain Jonathan Power fight back. 

Running for 22 episodes in Americaand Canada , the series  merged  live action with animation based on computer-generated merging live action with animation based on CGI images. 

In Nigeria, it aired on LTV in the 80s, LONG before Super Force.
