Remembering Jimmy Cliff (1944-2025)

Reggae, Ska, Soul and multi-instrumentalist Jimmy Cliff passed away on Monday, 24th November- the same day as Bollywood veteran actor Dharmendra's death. Cliff was 81. 

Jimmy Cliff was nominated several times for his hit songs, winning 2 Grammys. In 2003, he was awarded the Order of Merit by the Jamaican Government for his contributions to Jamaican film & music.  

Releasing 36 albums during his decades' decades-long career,  songs include Reggae Night, I Can See Clearly Now (which was used in the film, Cool Runnings), Hot Shot, We Are All One, & Many Rivers To Cross.
