VIDEO: 'Tomb Raider' Trailer: Alicia Vinkander's Lara All Geared Up

For the uninitiated no... this is not a sequel, this upcoming action adventure  movie- based on the 2013 video game of the same name- is actually a  reboot. What else is new?

Slipping into Angelina Jolie's boots is Swedish actress Alicia Vikander; known for 2012's Anna Karenina, 2014's  Seventh Son and 2016's Jason Bourne. In the movie, the adventurous aristocrat embarks on her first expedition after her father's disappearance, uncovering ancients secrets in a bid to complete her father's research and clear her name.


Directed by Roar Uthaug and produced by Graham King, Tomb Raider is set to be released in the United States  by Warner Bros. on the 16th of March, 2018.
