Happy Birthday, Chimamanda Adichie

 

A very happy to Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie; born on the 15th of September, 1977.

Her debut novel "Purple Hibiscus" was published in 2003 and won the Commonwealth Prize in 2005. It was followed by "Half a Yellow Sun" in 2006, which won the 2007 Women's Prize for Fiction and adapted into a feature film in 2013.

Her recent work is "Grandma's Scarf", her first children's book.
