Pet Sematary: Blood Lines
Sometimes, dead is better...
In the upcoming prequel of Stephen King's 1983 novel, a young Jud Crandall discovers a local pet cemetery in his town holds the power of resurrecting the dead... with horrific consequences that will affect his life and the other citizens of Ludlow.
Pet Sematary: Blood Lines stars Jackson White as Jud, Forrest Goodluck, Samantha Mathis, blaxploitation film veteran Pam Grier and X-files alum, David Duchovny. Described as Stephen King's most 'terrifying novel', Pet Sematary was first adapted in 1989, followed by a poorly received sequel in 1992 and then a remake in 2019. The character Jud Crandall is a neighbour of the Creed family who move to Ludlow in the original book. In the 1989 film, he was played by Fred Gwynne and by John Lithgow in 2019.
Pet Sematary: Bloodlines will premiere at Fantastic Fest on September 23, 2023, then on October 6, 2023, by Paramount+
