Happy 60th birthday, Rashidi Yekini

Reel Illustrated pays tribute to late Nigerian footballer, Rashidi Yekini today, which would have been his 60th birthday. 

Born on the 23rd of October, 1963, Yekini was a member of the Nigerian football team, The Super Eagles, his career spanning over 2 decades. He also  played for other countries, including the  Vitória de Setúbal and the African Sports National.  Yekini scored the very first goal for Nigeria during the  1994 World Cup tournament. Before then, he was awarded the African Footballer of the Year.
