TRAILER: 'The Crown- Season 4'

 

Season 4 of The Crown, which  covers the Queen's reign from 1979 to 1990, sees the return of Olivia Coleman as Elizabeth II (but with a cameo by Claire Foy in flashbacks)  Tobias Menzies as Prince Phillip,  Josh O' Conner as the Prince of Wales, Erin Doherty as the Princess Royal   and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret. Also returning is Emerald Fennel as (eye roll) Camilla Parker Bowles.  

 New  cast member Gillian Anderson (The X Files) will portray the late 'Iron Lady'- Margaret Thatcher, who was not only the first female Prime Minister but also the first one who was the same age as her Majesty.  Also, Emma Corrin, who has reportedly prepared for her role as thoroughly as possible, will play the late Princess Diana, who is still greatly missed today. Considering how that  turbulent royal marriage ended up- no thanks to the messy love triangle-and Thatcher's tenure as Prime Minister,  Season 4 would probably be more dramatic than the previous seasons. 

Season 4 is set for release on Netflix on the 15th of November, 2020.
