Award Winning Actor, William Hurt Passes On

 

William Hurt, known for his award winning performances, has passed away. He was 71.

The late actor had announced his prostate cancer diagnosis in 2018, which had metasized to his bones. 

He won an Oscar for Best Actor in 'Kiss of the Spider Woman' and played the lead in several stage plays and   films which included 'Broadcast News', 'Children of a Lesser God', 'The Village', 'The Good Shepherd', 'Jane Eyre' and 'Robin Hood'. He played Duke Leto Atreides in the 2000 miniseries adaptation of Frank Herbert’s 'Dune'.
