Pixar's 'Turning Red' Premires At Disney +Today

A girl discovers she turns into a giant red panda whenever she's stressed or too excited, due to a family curse. She must undergo a special ritual at a specific night... however, she already has a pressing appointment that night! 

'Turning Red' had its world premiere on the 1st of March, 2022 and will be released on Disney + in countries today. Pixar's new addition is notable for being the first to be set in Canada, the second to have a leading Asian character (the first one being Russell in 'Up') and with a sole female director, Domee Shi, who co-wrote it with Julia Chio. The lead character, Mei Lee, is voiced by Rosalie Chang and Sandra Oh (Killing Eve, Grey's Anatomy) as her mother, Ming Lee. TRAILER
