Happy 70th Birthday, Patti Bouleye

Reel Illustrated wishes veteran Nigerian British actress, model and singer, Patti Bouleye Komlosy, OBE a very happy 70th birthday. 

Born Patricia Ngozi Ebigwe in 1954, Patti left Nigeria for England in 1970 where her career began after she featured in a London production of the musical, Hair. She appeared in several stage productions before moving to music and  television. She also featured in films, including the 1977 Nigerian classic, Bisi, Daughter of the River, directed by Jab Adu and Ladi Ladebo. 

After several guest roles, she got her own series, The Patti Bouleye Show in 1984. She later became the Face of Lux Beauty Soap, her commercial and adverts featuring in Africa for 29 years. 

Still active in the entertainment industry, Patti has been married to Stephen Komlosy since 1976 with whom she shares 2 children and grandchildren.
