Games of Thrones' Final Season to be shot in October

Games of Thrones fans should prepare to say a sad bye bye to the show, as it will begin shooting its final season in October, which  will consist of 8 episodes.
In a recent interview Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, revealed the production date but as to what fans should expect in the final season, he has no idea yet.
ā€˜I knew what was going to happen for the first three seasons. After that, itā€™s been a season at a time,ā€ he said.
ā€˜You get the scripts a month before we start shooting, or six weeks, and then you know whatā€™s going to happen that season.
ā€˜But, I donā€™t know whatā€™s going to happen next season. We go back in October, so maybe in the next few weeks, weā€™ll get the scripts and Iā€™ll find out. Iā€™m very curious.ā€™
Well... all things must come to an end, right?

Game of Thrones is the brainchild of George R.R Martins, author of the  epic-fantasy series of novels - A Song of Ice & Fire; the first book of the series being ā€˜Game of Thronesā€™.  Martins, who is a co-executive producer of the show, can only be described as the American version of J.R.R Tolkien (probably called that already), the show having such a huge following since probably Doctor Who

What  we will  get next, A Lord of the Rings  T.V series?
