Yeah... Karma’s definitely a bitch!

I’m sure everyone’s heard  what happened recently to The Cosby Show alumn, Geoffrey Owens, who played Sondra Huxtable’s (rather exasperating) husband, Elvin Tibideaux.  A woman named Karma Lawrence spotted Owens working as a cashier at a  Trader Joe’s in New Jersey, took photos of the actor and went as far as to post it on a few celebrity websites, which of course went viral; more so after Daily Mail published them. But as it turned out, there was a huge backlash,  Daily Mail  accused of ‘job shaming’ Owens.  And as luck will have it, Tyler Perry has now offered Owens a role in his T.V series The Haves and the Have Nots- so we can say the tables have turned for those who found Owens working as a cashier funny.

But the main culprit is that woman Karma Lawrence, who is now apologizing for her actions, insisting it was not malicious and she was not the monster everyone’s claiming her to be.
Why the hell did she do it then? Here was what she had to say about her disgraceful behaviour:

I don't know why I snuck a picture; I figured everybody does it. I don't know what possessed me. I just did it. I didn't even think about it. I just kind of did it on impulse and it was a bad impulse.

Listen to yourself woman! You invaded the man’s privacy by taking those photos then posting them on social media! Was it even your business that he was working there to begin with, you don’t even know what’s going on with him personally or his reasons for working there (AGAIN no one’s business including yours) and now you are apologizing for the public embarrassment that you caused?  Karma’s definitely a bitch, whatever you expected to happen with Geoffrey Owens after your action; did not happen, instead, it made him even more popular than ever. The actor has shown nothing but dignity and strength during the whole episode and I applaud him for it. And for the other Karma Lawrences out there, think of the consequences of your actions before you go about invading a person's privacy.

Wishing Owens the very best of luck in his new T.V role.
