5 Years Memoriam: Yomi Adeyemi Wilson

 


Today marks 5 years since the passing of former child actress, Yomi Adeyemi Wilson, on the 12th of September, 2019. The "The Third Eye" alum was 39 at the time of her death, after an undisclosed illness.

 

Wilson received her Primary Education at Home Science Association Nursery and Primary School, Ikoyi,  her secondary school education at Queen's College, Yaba and studied Law at the University of Lagos. 

She was best known as Uzie, the precocious daughter of Inspector Best Idafa (Olu Jacobs) who helped him solve his cases, mostly unintentionally; as well as his successor, played by Norbert Young in the 90s NTA  police drama series, "The Third Eye."

 She also appeared in a Pronto chocolate drink advert.
