PHOTO OF THE WEEK: "Bruce Lee and Linda Training"

 

Late martial artist and actor  Bruce Lee (1940-1973) met his eventual wife Linda Emery when he was a  student of the University of Washington and she was a student at Garfield High school, where he gave a kung fu demonstration. She became one of his martial arts students after beginning her college education at the same University he attended, the couple marrying in 1964 and becoming  parents of two children, Brandon Lee (1965-1994) and  Shannon Lee. After his death,  Linda continued promoting his fighting technique, Jeet Kune Do until passing on the reins to their daughter. Photo above shows Bruce and Linda in a training session in their backyard.
