"The Lord of The Rings: The Rings of Power" Out On September 2nd
The upcoming fantasy series is a prequel of J.R.R Tolkien's "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings", set in the Second Age of Middle Earth; thousands of years before the events of both books. The series is produced by Amazon Studios, as well as HarperCollins, New Line Cinema, the Tolkien Estate and the Tolkien Trust. J.D payne and Patrick McKay developed "Rings of Power" for Prime Video,shot in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Cast members include Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Robert Aramayo, Owain Arthur and Morfydd Clark.
The series is scheduled to kick off on the 2nd of September, 2022.

Based on author J. R. R. Tolkien's history of Middle-earth, the series begins during a time of relative peace and covers all the major events of Middle-earth's Second Age: the forging of the Rings of Power, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the fall of the island kingdom of Númenor, and the last alliance between Elves and Men.
