In Memoriam: Sean Connery
Today marks two years since the death of Scottish actor, Sir Sean Connery, who passed away on the 31st of October, 2020; aged 90. Sean Connery was the first actor to play Ian Fleming's fictional M16 agent, James Bond; his performance resulting in the author changing his creation's nationality in the remaining Bond books.
Sir Connery starred in other notable films, earning a Best Supporting Oscar in The Untouchables.
