"Creed III" in March 2023

Michael B. Jordan makes his directorial debut and  reprises his role  as Adonis "Donnie" Creed in the second sequel of the  2015 sports film (and 9th installment of the "Rocky" franchise),  Creed III, which is scheduled to be released on the 3rd of March, 2023. The story is penned by Ryan Coogler, (who directed "Creed", "Creed II", "Black Panther" and its upcoming sequel), Keenan Coogler and Zach Baylin. 

While veteran actress Phylicia Raschad, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Tony Bellow (who played Adonis' first major opponent in "Creed") and German actor/boxer (Viktor Draco in "Creed II" ) also reprise their roles, Sylvester Stallone will NOT return as the iconic Rocky Balboa, but serves as one of the film's producers.

Reel Sum Up...

5 years after the events of "Creed II"; Adonis Creed is reunited with a  childhood friend, Damien (Jonathan Majors), recently released from prison. Damien's overeagerness to have his shot in the ring  and bitterness towards Donnie causes conflict between the two men, and Donnie is forced to defend his bright future and happy life against a man with nothing to lose.
