Happy birthday to American veteran actor, director and political activist  Danny Glover, born on the 22nd of July, 1946. His memorable roles include Roger Murtaugh  in the Lethal Weapon franchise and  the abusive Albert in the screen adaptation of Alice Walker's  The Color Purple .
