'The Wonder Years': Reboot
What would you do if I sang out of tune?
Would you stand up and walk out on me?
Lend me your ears... then I'll...song you a song
I'll try not sing of key, yeah...
The opening song of the memorable and acclaimed ABC coming of age television series, The Wonder Years, focused on the main character Kevin Arnold (played by Fred Savage), which ran for 6 seasons (1988-1993). Viewers watched as Kevin navigated through life as a teenager to an adolescent in the late 1960s to the early 1970s ; his experiences and interactions with his family, friends and loves narrated by his unseen adult self (voiced by Home Alone's Daniel Stern).

While Kevin's family played a large role in Kevin's life for most of the series, many memorable events during his coming to age was linked to his main love interest, Winnie Cooper, played by Danica McKellar. However, adult Kevin's closing details of what happened with them years later left their devout shippers really bereft.
And now, it's this show's turn to get a reboot, and again, by ABC.
