 The upcoming action horror film written and directed by Johannes Roberts is a reboot of the Resident Evil series , which previously starred Milla Jovovich; the last being Resident Evil: The Last Chapter, released in 2016. 

The reboot stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John - Kamen, Robbie Amell and Neal McDonough. It is set to be released on the 24th of November, 2021 by Sony Pictures Releasing.
