'Homeland' Season 7: What To Expect & Release Date
The final episode of
Season 6 showed Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes)- receiving the shocking news about dozens of State Department, Department of Defence and CIA officials being arrested-including her mentor Saul Berenson( Mandy Patakin)- on the orders
of the paranoid President Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) for being connected to the attempt on her life.
Carrie wasn't allowed access to the President when she attempts to confront her
and her protests fall on deaf ears as she got escorted out of the building.
In Season 7, we find that Carrie has resigned from her job in the White House and and now living with her sister Maggie (Amy Hargreaves) in D.C., to take on
the Keane administration and secure the release of the arrested officials.
Based on the Israeli
series Prisoners of War by Gideon Raff and developed for
American television by Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon, Homeland is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios.
Season 7 is set to premiere
on Showtime in February 11, 2018
