Walt Elias Disney (December 5 1909- December 15 1966)

                               

-Pioneer of the American Animation Industry

-Won 22 Oscars from 59 nominations, 3 Golden Globe Awards and 1 Emmy

- Created and first to voice signature character, Mickey Mouse

- Furthered the development of full length animated movies with

 Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Fantasia, Pinocchio, Dumbo and Bambi.

-Opened 'Disney Land' in 1955

- Diversified to television with Walt Disney's Disneyland and The Mickey Mouse Club
