P. S. I LUV U (1991- 1992)

 

P. S. I LUV U  was a CBS  police procedural t.v series that aired for 1 season between 1991 and 1992. It starred Connie Selleca  as Wanda Talbot, a con woman  forced to go  undercover to spy on a mob boss by police officer Joey Paciorek (Greg Evigan)  in exchange for immunity for her crimes.

After the mission went wrong, the bickering duo were  forced to relocate to Palm Springs under the Witness Protection Programme, where former U.S Marshall Matt Durning (Earl Holliman) employs them in his security firm as Dani and Cody PoPowell. Dani and Cody are forced to pose as husband and wife, much to their displeasure. However, they gradually learn to work as partners as they successfully solved cases, thanks to Dani's clever con schemes.

Any hopes of Dani and Cody becoming an actual couple were dashed after  P. S. I LUV U  was cancelled after only 13 episodes. 

Greg Evigan sang the series' theme song with Suzanne Fountain.
